The late Fuifui Tufuga passing 19th May 2009  / Tim Tufuga (son)

It is with deepest sympathy to announce the passing of the late Ms. Fuifui Tolua Tufuga the mother of the late Ms. Tumema (Mema) Siala Tufuga on the 19th May 2009. She passed away at the Logan Hospital, Logan City, South of Brisbane, after surviving a series of strokes. She passed away at the age of 84.

Fuifui Tufuga was born in Asau, Savai'i, Samoa. Fuifui Tufuga had migrated to Australia from New Zealand in 1995. She had become naturalised as an Australian in 1997.

She is survived by her offsprings; Mr. Frank Tufuga, Mrs. Nive Tolua Tufuga Fanene, and Philip Tolua-Burne.

Her funeral was held in the Marsden Catholic church in Logan City, on the 21st and 22nd May, 2009. The late Ms. Fuifui Tufuga is interned in the Beenleigh cemetery.

The unveiling of the late Fuifui Tufuga tombstone is scheduled for the 19th May 2010.
